.ChicagoDOT is introducing their new community engagement effort, the Chicago Mobility Collaborative, in replacement of their other three advisory councils.
The Chicago Department of Transportation said Friday that it’s launching a new community engagement effort – more than two years since the city’s cyclist and pedestrian safety groups met.
“The Chicago Mobility Collaborative will provide a new opportunity for conversation and collaboration with CDOT to build a better and more inclusive transportation network,” CDOT Commissioner Gia Biagi said in a statement. “Chicago is a multi-modal city and that is what this collaborative will represent. Whether you primarily get around by walking, biking, taking transit, or anything in between, we look forward to working together to make a safer, better-connected city.
