Pageant powerhouses Philippines, Thailand, and Mexico, among others, didn't make it to the semifinals of Miss Universe 2022 grand coronation night on Saturday night. Shortly after the announcement of the Top 16, composed of Puerto Rico, Haiti, Australia, Dominican Republic, Laos, South Africa, Portugal, Canada, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Curacao, India, Venezuela, Spain, USA, and Colombia, Catriona Gray comforted the fans of those countries who failed to advance.
