Netflix has dropped a new Castlevania: Nocturne poster for its upcoming animated spin-off, featuring the franchise's newest lead characters.

The hand-drawn-style poster features lead characters Richter Belmont and Maria Renard who will lead a revolution against the rising forces of darkness. The series will start streaming on September 28.“The gory and gothic adventures of the Castlevania franchise continue with an exciting new setting and their highest stakes yet,” reads the logline.
Based on Konami’s 1993 Castlevania: Rondo of Blood video game, Castlevania: Nocturne is created and written by Clive Bradley, with Kevin Kolde serving as the showrunner. The series is set during the French Revolution, centering around Trevor Belmont and Sypha’s descendant Richter, who is carrying on with his family’s vampire-hunting tradition. The project hails from Powerhouse Animation.
