Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo finished eighth in the men's all-around finals of the 2022 World Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool, United Kingdom on Saturday morning (Manila time).

Yulo got off to a hot start, notching 15.166 in his pet event floor exercise built on 6.400 in difficulty and 8.766 in execution before he got 11.900 on the pommel horse to drop to 12th place in the standings after the second rotation. Yulo further strengthened his medal bid with an impressive 15.166 finish in the parallel bars to climb back to sixth spot at the end of the penultimate rotation.
