A.J. Green has accepted his reduced role in the Cardinals' offense with class, a fact not lost on his head coach as Green's career nears an end.
A.J. Green is one game away from completing his 11th NFL season. At 34, the veteran wide receiver has been around football so long that when asked about Hudl by younger teammates, he told them he used to be a quarterback and sometimes operated out of the huddle.
The show had Green, who is set to become a free agent, on Thursday addressing questions about a possible retirement at season's end. Green said he has not made up his mind about that yet. "We'll see," he said when asked if he feels he has a lot left within himself to continue playing."Right now I just want to enjoy the offseason and then I'll see what happens."
A scene of him with his family on"Hard Knocks" playing in a park put things in perspective. Green looks forward to spending more time with family.
