A car crashed into a home in suburban Cook County on Monday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 1:50 p.m. in the 4500 block of Concord Lane, according to village officials.
When emergency responders arrived at the scene, the passenger was out of the vehicle but the driver had to be removed by fire department personnel. Officials say the driver had a "medical episode, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle and strike the house." Nobody was home at the time of the incident.
The driver and passenger were both transported to an area hospital with minor injuries, officials said. Nobody else was injured.By clicking Sign Up, I confirm
