In the decade since she became Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers has carved out a role for herself in the Marvel Universe that truly sets her apart from her predecessors as the bearer of the mantle. But now that Marvel has confirmed the introduction of a new sidekick and the reintroduction of the Nega-Bands, she will have to embrace some classic Captain Marvel dynamics.
The Nega-Bands Have a Storied & Important History The Nega-Bands are powerful and ancient relics of the Kree Empire. They grant the wearer incredible powers such as flight, super strength, and the ability to shoot energy blasts by converting mental energy into physical energy, as well as acting as a gateway to the Negative Zone. They also have one other unique property: if another set of Nega-Bands is found, they can pair up, entangling the two wearers together.
