Sam Wilson has a new Captain America suit in Captain America: New World Order, and here is how it compares to Steve Rogers and the comics. The end of Avengers: Endgame confirmed that Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson would become the Marvel Cinematic Universe's next Captain America after Steve passed him the shield. It was not until The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's ending that viewers actually got to see Sam suit up in the red, white, and blue color scheme.
Sam Wilson Gets A New Captain America Costume In New World Order And How It's Different The new Captain America suit Sam Wilson wears in Captain America: New World Order was revealed in recent set photos. The glimpse at the costume reveals a primarily blue suit will be worn by Anthony Mackie in the Phase 5 movie.
One of the big differences that can be spotted between Captain America's new MCU costume compared to the original is the removal of the cowl. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier gave Sam's original suit a white cowl that allowed the costume to run up his neck and cover a section of his face, including connecting to the goggles. There is no sign of the cowl in Sam's new Captain America costume, making him look closer to his days as Falcon.
It will take a full look at Sam's Captain America suit to properly compare it to Steve Rogers' costumes. The stealth suit is the only one that did not feature red and white stripes across the abdomen, but that section of Sam's new costume cannot be seen. If the new Captain America suit does have the red and white ads, it will mark some consistency between Sam's suit and the various ones worn by Steve.
