The highly anticipated Marvel film is projected to make a significant impact at the box office.

Captain America: Brave New World is projected to earn approximately $95 million during the four-day Presidents Day/Valentine's Day weekend. This is a significant figure, as it surpasses the opening weekend gross of 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger, which made around $65 million domestically, and aligns with the performance of 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which grossed approximately $95 million.

However, it falls short of the record-breaking opening weekend of Captain America: Civil War, which earned over $179 million in the United States. Marvel Studios holds the top three spots for four-day opening weekend records during Presidents Day weekend, with Black Panther (2018) topping the list at $242.1 million, followed by Deadpool ($152.1 million) and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania ($120.3 million). Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania achieved a three-day total of $106.1 million, Deadpool raked in $132.4 million, while Black Panther soared to $202 million. Captain America: Brave New World follows Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, who has fully embraced the mantle of Captain America. After a meeting with newly inaugurated U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, Sam finds himself embroiled in an international crisis. He must unravel the motives behind a sinister global plot before the mastermind responsible can plunge the world into chaos. The film is directed by Julius Onah, with Kevin Feige and Nate Moore serving as producers. Louis D'Esposito and Charles Newirth contribute as executive producers. The star-studded cast includes Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Giancarlo Esposito as Seth Voelker/Sidewinder, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross
