Cam Jones: It’s definitely something that’s come up. It was an honor and a privilege to represent Indiana football with such high character. I was blessed to play for a head coach like Tom Allen. He’s a leader himself. He showed me the ropes. He challenged me every year at Indiana to become a better leader. I really appreciate him for that.
Cam Jones: Coming out of high school, I primarily played wide receiver and quarterback. I was on the offensive side of the ball. Coach Allen told me that he had a plan and all I had to do was trust him. He told me that he saw me playing on the defensive side of the ball. JM: It shows on tape. You totaled more than 200 tackles at Indiana. You were averaging more than 10 tackles per game in 2022 before a foot injury cut your season a little short. You’re a reliable, relentless tackler. What do you love about tackling?
Cam Jones: In order to be an effective linebacker in the league, you have to be consistent versus the run first and foremost. You also have to be consistent against the passing game as well.
