A California mayor scolded anti-Israeli protestors who interrupted a flag-raising event to support the Israeli people.
Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer, along with council members and other dignitaries, held the event at Unity Park in an act of solidarity with the people of Israel.
In an effort to disrupt the event and get media attention, a small but vocal group of protestors continued yelling during his and other's speeches."The hatred is deep and you can sense some of that right here today. With people that are standing here supporting what occurred Saturday with the killing of innocent Israelis and beheading of babies. If that is what you stand for then you do not stand for the United States of America," Dyer told the group of protestors.
"We do stand in solidarity with the Jewish communities. We stand against Hamas. That is what the United States is about," he continued.
