Chicago Bears rookie Caleb Williams has not yet signed his rookie contract and has had one big request denied.
Reports came out on Tuesday that the Chicago Bears and Caleb Williams agreed to a fully-guaranteed rookie contract, but Williams has yet to sign. The rookie is apparently trying to haggle on last-minute details, and his biggest request has already been denied by the organization.
The Bears are placing a lot of stock in Williams, who has already been named the starter for the team. Head coach Matt Eberflus has expressed great faith in the former USC Trojan, and the hope is he can be just as dynamic in the NFL as he was while in college.Williams has a treasure trove of offensive weapons to utilize on the Bears in wide receivers DJ Moore and Keenan Allen. The team also has running back D'Andre Swift, tight end Cole Kmet, and rookie receiver Rome Odunze.
