Kristin LamPolice investigate a car where a retired Cal State Fullerton administrator was stabbed to death Monday, August 19, 2019 in Fullerton, Calif.A consultant to a California university was fatally stabbed in a campus parking lot on Monday morning, police said.
Police responded to a report of an assault at 8:30 a.m. on the first day of the academic year and found the victim inside a silver Infinity with multiple stab wounds. Attempts to save the 57-year-old man were not successful, a university statement said. “We do not know motive at this point for what occurred,” Radus said. “We do not believe there is a random stabber.”
Campus authorities were not aware of any threats against Chan, Radus said. The victim lived in Hacienda Heights, police said.
