An employee at Bowery reportedly saw the singer carry a handgun into the public restroom on the ground floor of the Lower Manhattan hotel Wednesday night. Police responded to a 911 call and knocked on Shultz’s door Thursday morning to recover the weapons, a Sig Sauer and a Smith & Wesson.Cage the Elephant is a two-time Grammy winner for best rock album, taking home trophies for both 2015’s “Tell Me I’m Pretty” and 2019’s “Social Cues.
