Court of Appeals pressed to act swiftly on plea for release of Pharmally executive

The Court of Appeals has been asked to act swiftly on the petition for release filed by Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation executive Mohit Dargani who has been detained at the Pasay City jail since November 2021 on orders of the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee.

In the case of Ong, he filed a petition with the Supreme Court challenging his arrest and detention. The petition is still pending resolution. “In the heat of the campaign, we seemed to have forgotten that my client, Mohit Dargani, has been languishing in jail with no charges, much less a crime committed, but due only to one Senator’s pride” Topacio tweeted.
