Temperatures in New York City could hit 22 degrees on Tuesday, tying a record low for the day that was set in 1873
By Tyler Blint-Welsh Nov. 11, 2019 5:03 pm ET Bone-chilling weather was expected to hit New York on Tuesday, potentially bringing record-low temperatures, snow flurries and powerful wind gusts to the region, meteorologists said.
Temperatures are expected to drop sharply throughout Tuesday, giving way to snow flurries in the afternoon. Wind gusts of up to 30 miles an hour were expected in the evening. Mr. Roys said the frigid temperatures and wind would make it feel like it is between 4 and 8 degrees around the commute Wednesday morning.
