Two animated legends go toe-to-toe in an exclusive Looney Tunes Cartoons clip. Developed by Uncle Grandpa creator Peter Browngardt, the HBO Max series brings back the full roster of iconic cartoon characters to the screen for more goofy adventures, namely Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, among others. With four successful seasons under its belt, Looney Tunes Cartoons is currently gearing up for its season 5 release.
Ahead of its return this week, Screen Rant is pleased to present an exclusive Looney Tunes Cartoons clip. The video comes from the short "Bulls-eye Bunny," in which Bugs Bunny is tasked with assisting Yosemite Sam in a knife-throwing show. True to form, however, Bugs takes the opportunity to get the better of the typically gun-toting cowboy-esque character. Watch the full clip below:
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT How Looney Tunes Cartoons Has Revived The Franchise Having first premiered in 2020, Looney Tunes Cartoons has consistently proven to be an exciting revival of the iconic animated franchise. Though, unlike the previously released New Looney Tunes, the HBO Max series has gone all the way back to the spirit of the original cartoons with its classic animation style and music akin to the '40s and '50s shorts.
At the time of its release, Looney Tunes Cartoons marked the first major return for the franchise, with New Looney Tunes having ended a few months prior, and whose popularity carried over into the following year's Space Jam: A New Legacy, a sequel that had languished in development for over 20 years. While the LeBron James-led film ultimately flopped, the HBO Max series has continued to enjoy rave reviews, proving it as the ultimate successor of the original shorts.
