In The SOOon June 14, HYBE announced that V and fellow Wooga Squad members—actors Park Seo-joon, Park Hyung-sik, and Choi Woo-sik, as well as rapper Peakboy—will star in the series created by the entertainment company initially for its talents.
Titled “In the SOOP: Friendship Trip,” the four-episode program will follow the reality show’s format, wherein the group will head to a remote location for a four-day “healing vacation” away from their busy lives.Wooga Squad's friendship was formed when V, Seo-joon, and Hyung-sik headlined the K-dramaThe two actors later introduced V to their other best friends and fellow actors Woo-sik and Peakboy, thus completing the Wooga Squad.
A year later, on August 29, 2021, HYBE released a spin-off show featuring the agency’s fourth generation boy group SEVENTEEN. BTS came back for the second season of their show—this time, with only four episodes—in October 15, 2020.
