BTS, the K-Pop boy-band sensation, is planning to sell NFTs that play music and show bandmates interacting, in a partnership with crypto exchange Dunamu
The boy-band sensation from South Korea is planning to sell digital cards of its band members that can be collected or traded, similar to the limited-edition physical photo cards fans already hoard. But the digital cards will move when tapped on and play music or show the bandmates talking.the entertainment company that manages BTS, didn’t respond to requests for comment.
NFTs, or nonfungible tokens, are digital collectibles that are authenticated using blockchain technology and are usually purchased with cryptocurrencies. They have soared in popularity in recent months, with many celebrities diving into the space.
