Moves on the billboardcharts: BTS_twt spends 100th straight week at No. 1 on the Social50 chart

The Social 50 is powered by data tracked by music analytics company Next Big Sound and ranks the most popular artists on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Wikipedia and Tumblr. The chart's methodology blends weekly additions of friends/fans/followers with artist page views and engagement. The chart's latest tracking week ended June 6.
BTS has spent each week since the Social 50 chart dated July 29, 2017, at No. 1, a feat accomplished by no other artist in the tally’s eight-plus-year history . The group takes the June 15 crown after scoring 12.3 million mentions on Twitter, up 57%, along with 6.5 million Twitter reactions , according to Next Big Sound.. The pop singer has 163 weeks atop the chart to his name; BTS has 130.debuts at No. 16, marking one of the top debuts for an artist in 2019.
