singer told fans, "After being rushed to the emergency room and being resuscitated twice today, he is currently on a ventilator and is being kept alive by life support."
Michaels, who had just spent a week with his dad -- who came to the singer's July 27 show at the Spyglass Amphitheater in Sunbury, Pennsylvania -- postponed his Aug. 2 gig at the Hard Rock Hotel in Orlando and the Aug. 3 gig at the Old Town Amphitheatre in Rock Hill, South Carolina following his dad's illness.
Michaels said before his death Sychak was resuscitated five times, something "the doctor said he has never seen anyone in my Dad's serious condition fight like he did. Dad you said be strong no matter what, but this pain in my heart & soul hurts so bad at the moment... so bad. I miss you already, we all do."
