Isaiah Riggins had another strong performance on Saturday, helping Carroll finish in fifth place in the Class 5A standings on Saturday at the AHSAA Outdoor Track and Field State Championships

Also on Saturday, Carroll's 4x400-meter relay team finished seventh in a time of 3 minutes and 34.84 seconds. Four other Wiregrass teams scored points in Class 5A. Charles Henderson finished in 18th place with 12 points with Headland a spot back in 19th with 11 points. Eufaula and Rehobeth tied for 32nd place with three other teams, all with two points each.
