Brad Marchand says he will never speak openly about contract negotiations with the Boston Bruins.
Brad Marchand is about to enter his 16th season in the NHL and second as captain of the Boston Bruins. The upcoming 2024-25 season is also the last year of an eight-year contract he signed in 2016.
In fact, Marchand doesn’t plan on speaking about his contract status or any negotiations that may be happening.“I won't ever talk about contract stuff in the media.” “I don't want to deal with that,” Marchand said. “I just think there's enough respect between the two sides that we can deal with it, and I’ll leave it at that. Hopefully you can appreciate that.”
