President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. on Wednesday welcomed the recent OCTA survey showing that Filipinos who prefer to identify themselves as pro-Marcos have increased in the second quarter of the year.At the sidelines of an event in Pampanga, Marcos told reporters that he is glad that Filipinos are starting to see and understand what his administration intends to do for the country.''Well, of course, good news lagi 'yan, 'yung maraming sumusuporta sa iyo.
''And I think that maybe because we really don't— hindi kami nagde-decide dahil para sa magandang survey. Nagde-decide kami para pagandahin ang buhay ng Pilipinas. Kaya't tuloy-tuloy ang mga — ganun pa rin ang gagawin namin,'' Marcos said. OCTA's Tugon ng Masa survey said pro-Marcos Filipinos increased to 36% in June 2024 from 31% in March, while pro-Duterte Filipinos decreased from 20% in March to 16% in June.
