Presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos said he is hoping that President Duterte would “endorse to solidify the administration” ahead of the May 2022 polls.Marcos gave this answer Wednesday, March 16, during the Kapihan sa Manila Bay news forum when he was asked whether or not he was “actively courting” the endorsement of the Chief Executive.
“I don’t know if you could call it ‘actively courting’, but we are hoping that he will come out with an endorsement, endorsing at least to solidify and to unite the administration side of the poltical aisle before the elections,” he said. “Tignan natin, alam mo naman si Pangulo , he likes to keep everybody on their toes. I think that’s what happening now,” Marcos said.His daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, is Marcos’s running mate. Marcos and Mayor Duterte comprise the “UniTeam”.
