Boeing 737 jetliner reportedly crashes in Tehran, Iran
A Boeing 737 jetliner carrying 180 people crashed early Wednesday, local time, in Tehran, Iran, according to Iranian news agencies. The Fars News Agency reported a Ukrainian plane crashed due to technical problems soon after takeoff from Imam Khomeini airport. State-run news agency ISNA reported the same. The crash appears to be unrelated to Iranian missile strikes earlier in the night against bases in Iraq that house U.S. troops.
