One Quincy's power is the most ridiculous yet.

Warning: Spoilers for Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 20A new villain appearing in Bleach: The Thousand-Year Blood War is packing one of the most powerful abilities ever seen in anime, making him almost literally omnipotent. It's only thanks to the unique set of skills of his opponent, Kenpachi Zaraki, that Gremmy did not decimate the entire Soul Society alone.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Episode #20 of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War focuses on Kenpachi Zaraki and his battle with a clever Sternritter by the name of Gremmy Thoumeaux, who was initially attacking the triage station run by Isane using a false persona.

Gremmy's Imagination Ability is One of Bleach's Most Broken Needless to say, that's an incredibly powerful ability that makes Gremmy an opponent who's not to be messed with. So long as he imagines himself surviving and winning, there's really no way to defeat him. However, for as powerful as imagination can be, it is also hard to control and can become a double-edged sword.

Gremmy proves just how ultimate his power is, though, when he summons a meteor from the sky that he claims will destroy the entire Soul Society, mirroring an attack showcased by Madara in Naruto. Zaraki uses his new Shikai release to split the meteor, shocking Gremmy. The turning point of that battle is when Gremmy attempts to mirror the power displayed by Zaraki, but it turns out to be too much for his imaginary body, and Gremmy is revealed to actually be little more than a brain in a jar.

The battle between Gremmy and Zaraki is definitely one of the more interesting ones so far, pitting two very different abilities against one another, yet managing to surprise with the seemingly superior ability being defeated. Ultimately, it was just a bad match-up for Gremmy. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War still has plenty of Quincy Sternritter powers to reveal, though, but Gremmy's ability will still go down in history as one of the most overpowered ever.
