If approved, the owner of the trademark would reserve the right to produce “outer clothing, ready-made clothing; underwear” and more under both the “Manobal Lalisa” and “Manobal” names.
Though the prospect of a Lisa fashion line may seem positive at first, BLINKS seemed a bit worried about the trademark filing, as it appears Lisa did not complete the request herself. Rather, BLACKPINK’s management company YG Entertainment seems to have taken the reins on registering her name as a brand.fans feeling uneasy, expressing that, if Lisa no longer owns the legal rights to her name for merchandising purposes, she may face difficulties trying to produce her own work in the future.
