The Clinton Foundation's upcoming summit will be headlined by a live conversation between Pope Francis and former President Bill Clinton on various issues including climate change, the foundation announced Thursday.

The pope, while known to adhere to traditional Catholic teachings on contraception, abortion, and gender, has also delighted liberal figures with his impassioned advocacy on behalf of refugees and immigrants, as well as his calls for global action to combat climate change. The pontiff previously met with Clinton in July, along with Alex Soros, the son of billionaire and liberal megadonor George Soros.

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and Interior Secretary Deb Haaland are set to represent the Biden administration at the event. Other speakers include Gov. Gavin Newsom , Gov. Gretchen Whitmer , along with retired NBA player Dwayne Wade, former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, Fox News host Dana Perino, and former White House press secretary and MSNBC host Jen Psaki.
