Carlisle police are asking drivers to avoid the area Friday morning while crash reconstruction is completed.
A bicyclist was taken to the hospital with “significant” injuries after getting hit by a car in Carlisle, police said.
The crash, which involved an electric bicycle and a car, happened around 8 a.m. on South College Street at Church Avenue, according to police and dispatch reports. South College Street will be closed for several hours while crash reconstruction is completed, police said. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area and take different routes.
