The Renaissance has begun. Beyoncé returned the stage tonight in Stockholm, Sweden to kick off her global Renaissance World Tour. The superstar has stayed incredibly quiet since releasing her critically lauded seventh studio album last summer and now, devout members of the Beyhive are finally able to witness songs such as "Break My Soul", "Cuff It", and "Virgo's Groove" live.
Bey opened the show in a custom shimmering, metallic suit courtesy of Alexander McQueen while she thanked everyone in the crowd who traveled in from all over the world to be with her for the tour's opening night. "You could have been anywhere in the world tonight but you choose to be here with me," she said to the crowd after taking the stage. It's safe to say fans across the world will continue to show up for Queen Bey as the tour progresses from now until the fall.
