Blood provided by South Texas Blood and Tissue was transfused into the victims that needed it, exactly two years ago.SAN ANTONIO — It's been two years since the shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde. Every year, on May 24, superintendents and staff across Bexar County get together to donate blood at South Texas Blood and Tissue.

No one at South Texas Blood and Tissue can forget the day. Blood provided by South Texas Blood and Tissue was transfused into the victims that needed it, exactly two years ago. "I got to walk the halls of Robb Elementary, I knew both of those teachers," she said."I knew many of the students and their families. Never did I believe that that would happen. Not in that loving, beautiful community. I think what this has done is just open the eyes for myself and for many others, that this type of tragedy, can happen truly anywhere."
