Duane Jackson, 18, of Cleveland is accused of nine charges in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court, including aggravated murder, tampering with evidence and firing a gun into a home, according to the indictment.
He is being held on $1 million bond, which was set during a brief appearance in Common Pleas Court last week.
Jackson is accused of shooting Maurco Toler on Dec. 11 in the front yard of a home on Zeman Street, near East 260th Street, in Euclid, according to police and court records. Police said a doorbell camera in the neighborhood captured the shooting. It showed an SUV driving in front of the home. Shots from a gun had struck the home.
Jackson is the only person named in the indictment, though investigators continue to examine whether others were involved.
