Now the 21-year-old is breaking into the adult film industry with the release of her first short film project for Pornhub,Thorne was asked to write and direct the third installment of Pornhub's Visionary Directors series, a project that features "unexpected guest directors" with the intention of "diversifying porn production and helping to create more varied content with multiple types of viewers in mind.
"What inspired me to do this movie," Thorne said in an interview about making the film, "was thinking about this relationship between a male and a female and this fight over dominance and how much that relates to us in our general world, besides just a sexual scenario." She explained that her vision involved creating two dynamic characters that could "switch off between dominant and submissive," and that Pornhub was super supportive of her idea.
