The supermodel fronts Self-Portrait’s newest shoot.
Bella shot the Spring/Summer 2022 campaign with British photographer Harley Weir and shows off a few different sides of her personality, from the sweetly cheeky shot where she poses topless under a red and white plaid skirt suit set to a sultrier moment where she's seen lounging in a full bathtub in a white dress and red strappy sandals. In another shot, she poses on a couch wearing a rust-brown ruched dress.
In a press release accompanying the campaign, Self-Portrait's founder and creative director Han Chong shared he's looking forward to what's to come after COVID-19 and was inspired to create the collection for when life opens up again. “This season, I was really inspired to shift gears into the future and present a collection into what women might want to wear after what feels like a lifetime spent indoors," Chong said.
Bella was key in bringing Chong's vision to life. "Bella has this incredible purity of spirit and rawness of emotion that speaks to so many people today. I really admire how aware and empathetic she is of the world around her, which is so refreshing," the designer shared. "It was a real dream to work with her on this campaign, which allowed her to bring to life all the different sides of her character. It was a really special day where she just let herself be free.
That free, uninhibited vibe is clear in the pics, where Bella looks as though she's on the precipice of something new, and in the clothes themselves — then is full of flirty dresses in pastel shades, versatile separates, and colorful knitwear. There are pieces for casual weekdays, weekend parties and events, and even more formal events like weddings.
