State-run Bases Conversion and Development Authority said over the weekend it signed two agreements with Japanese organizations for smart and sustainable growth of the John Hay Special Economic Zone and New Clark City during a high-profile visit to Tokyo.
“This technology promises to enhance urban mobility, reduce traffic congestion and promote environmentally sustainable transportation solutions. By leveraging Zippar technology, we can create a seamless and efficient transport system within Camp John Hay, making it more accessible and enjoyable for residents and visitors alike,” said BCDA president and chief executive Joshua Bingcang after the agreement signing with Zip Infrastructure chief executive Takamasa Suchi.
BCDA also signed a three-year partnership with the Organization for Public-Private Partnerships Promotion Support of Japan to attract more Japanese investment in New Clark City and other BCDA economic zones.
