The home at 1985 Tunnel Road near Grizzly Peak Road hit the market last week, and has drawn some divided opinions due to its resemblance to a saxophone.
Inside, the three-story home’s gilded front gives way to a more elegant streamline moderne interior, complete with a graceful swirling staircase, a full-floor master bedroom with circular bed, numerous balconies looking over the bay and a sunken lounge. The balcony railings are, naturally, shaped like treble clefs.“My understanding is it was designed for an amateur jazz musician,” listing agent Derek Han told SFGATE over the phone.
