MANILA, Philippines — A policeman from Batanes earned praises on social media after returning P15,000 that was sent by mistake to his GCash mobile banking app account.Police Staff Sergeant Anselmo Gari Jr. was surprised to learn that his GCash account received P15,000 from a user identified as Rose from Quezon City last January 5, according to a post on Sabtang Police Station’s Facebook page on Thursday.

Gari then contacted the woman on Facebook, who confirmed that she sent the money by mistake as per the screenshot of their conversation shared on the Facebook page.
