During the filming for the series finale, Cosnett was seen wearing a costume that was very reminiscent of Cobalt Blue's outfit from the comics. Cobalt, or Malcolm Thawne as he is known in the comics, has been a villain many fans have requested to see on The Flash for several seasons. While The CW hasn't flat-out confirmed Cosnett as Cobalt, it feels safe to speculate that he will be the show's final antagonist as he joins forces with the other speedster foes.
Cosnett will supposedly make his first appearance in the next few weeks as The Flash heads toward its series finale on May 24. Time will tell how The Flash season 9 will execute the gathering of all these villains as Barry enters his ultimate battle before the show ends. Hopefully, The Flash series finale will give a satisfactory ending to the Arrowverse drama as the fastest man alive enters his biggest war yet.
