Baron Geisler disclosed that he relapsed into alcohol addiction after he and his wife Jamie Evangelista had a misunderstanding.
“Nag-relapse ako nung December and naging continuous siya up until last month, but now I’m back sa 12-step program na nakakatulong po sa akin ,” Geisler said. “It is making me understand that I really am an alcoholic. You have to keep coming back to the program and work on your program.” Geisler then dismissed the speculations that he and Evangelista broke up, clarifying that they are only giving each other space to work on their “12-step programs.”
“Nagkaroon lang kami ng misunderstanding ni misis, parang nawala ‘yung pagka-empathetic ko and hindi ko nabigyang halaga ‘yung mga gusto niya—kasi dapat naging aware ako kasi needs ng wife ko e. So naging selfish ako ulit and ayon na,” he explained.
