New changes are coming for Baldwin County Public School elementary students. The School Board voting unanimously Tuesday to move from uniforms to a dress code that aligns with what 7th through 12th graders currently have.

While school officials did not want to lay out the details before telling parents -- they confirm the move will be very much in-line with the current dress code policy for 7th-12th graders. The new dress code will impact about 17,000 elementary students. Superintendent Eddie Tyler believes the change will save parents money.
Another money saver -- with the help of a federal program -- the school system will provide free breakfast and lunch for all Baldwin County public school students.
