“We had two large oak trees land on our house and we had had — pretty had to have our house rebuilt after the storm….it was pretty devastating for us,” Roberson shared. “We really didn’t think too much about this when I’ve lived here most of my life,” said Roberson. ”What I learned just by this experience, these trees were had no visible damage to them whatsoever. But they were water oaks and we had a lot of rain.”
One common mistake he says homeowners often make is trimming too many limbs hanging over their roofs.
