The local government of Baguio City will implement a number coding scheme even on the holidays of June 12 and 17, 2024.The Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Baguio on Tuesday reiterated City Ordinance 01-2002 which provides that the local number coding scheme is still implemented even on holidays unless suspended by an executive order.June 12 marks Philippine Independence Day, while June 17 was declared a regular holiday in observance of Eid'l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice.

Further, the Baguio City LGU said the prohibition applies to all roads within the number coding zone of the city that are located within the perimeter line defined as follows: Naguilian Road from the junction of Bokawkan Road to the junction of Abanao Street Abanao Street extension to the junction of Yandoc Street, Yandoc Street Legarda Road to the junction of Marcos Highway Marcos Highway from the junction of Legarda Road to BGH Circle Kennon Road from BGH Circle to the junction of Military...
