Authorities seek inmate who left San Diego reentry facility [Breaking]
A man serving his prison sentence at a San Diego community reentry program left the facility without authorization Thursday night, authorities said.Kajuan Walker, 28, went missing around 7:30 p.m. from the Male Community Reentry Program in Barrio Logan, according to officials from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
State prison officials said Walker is Black, 6 feet tall and weighs 280 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. A photograph provided by prison officials show his face, neck and throat covered in tattoos. He was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt and cutoff sweatpants. Walker was convicted on second-degree robbery and drug charges in 2018, and sentenced to nine years in prison, officials said. He was moved to the community reentry program last month, on March 24, and was expected to be released from custody in May 2024.The Male Community Reentry Program allows eligible people incarcerated in state prison to serve the end of their sentences in a community setting, with the program providing them tools to help transition out of custody.
