Two men killed in a plane crash in Marion County have been identified. Authorities responded to the scene in Pleasant Township on Tuesday around 11:30 a.m., where a single-engine plane with two men on board was reported to have crashed into a field nearly nine miles away from the Marion Municipal Airport.
The plane was severely damaged in the crash, and the two men inside, identified as 71-year-old Hal Durbin and 70-year-old William David, were killed following the crash. Authorities said they were working to determine why the plane went down, and the NTSB was notified following the crash.
