Auburn head coach Hugh Freeze updated the statuses of running back Damari Alston, safety Donovan Kaufman and others during his press conference Monday morning.
sophomore running back Damari Alston took a helmet to his right arm, sending him to the on-field injury tent and then to the locker room.“Damari will be out for a period of time for sure,” Freeze said during his press conference Monday. “I think they’re doing some more tests today on that, but he had a dislocated shoulder for sure. It’s just a matter of, you know, sometimes those things can heal on their own in time. Sometimes they require more work. And we really don’t know.
Rounding out the injury report was veteran safety Zion Puckett, who exited Saturday’s game with a shoulder injury.
