The latest data shows welcoming news for California, as more parts of the Golden State are now drought-free.
California this week was hit with its 11th atmospheric river of the winter season, bringing flooded roadways, landslides, and toppled trees to the southern part of the state as well as drought-busting rainfall that meant the end of water restrictions for nearly 7 million people.
What makes the latest data even more impressive is when you consider most of the state was in a "severe drought," in Oct. 2022 and in December, the Metropolitan Water District's Board of Directors
