That series in September was during the worst slump of the season for the Rangers, who were without third baseman Josh Jung and who lost Adolis García during the series. I’ve learned that since I’ve been here.
“Max is doing well,” Bochy said. “He’s done well. After workout today, we get together, we’ll get the staff, of course, Chris Young and his staff, and we’ll talk about the roster. But he’s doing really well.”
