Springer Nature is seeking an Associate or Senior Editor to join the Research Cross-Journal Editorial Team.
The main focus of these roles is to support editorial processes relating to manuscript assessment and the peer-review process; there will also be opportunities to commission, edit and write content for these journals. Successful candidates will work with different Nature Research Journals, working closely with Chief Editors and journal teams, while reporting to the Head of the Research Cross-Journal Team.
The ability to read and assess the novelty, context and implications of research submitted to the nature journals from different areas of this discipline. Be eager to interact with scientists worldwide, learn more about them and their research, and help them learn more about us and what we are looking for in the papers we seek to publish.These are challenging and intellectually stimulating roles that call for highly motivated individuals with excellent writing, speaking, and time-management skills; candidates should have the ability to absorb new areas quickly and must have a keen interest in the practice and communication of science.
