Overwhelmed by the spread of coronavirus and fearing it could ravage a population already grappling with insufficient health care and generational poverty, the Navajo Nation has secured the help of FEMA and the Arizona National Guard.

In addition to Chinle, the National Guard flew in two Blackhawk helicopters to Kayenta, where there's a clinic, to distribute 300 sets of, or PPE, including gloves, gowns and masks.
